I’m Melisa and I am the manager at Beecher Crossing Dental Group. My role helps to keep things moving smoothly, no matter what obstacles come our way! I love the challenges each day brings, and the teamwork that brings us together to best serve our dental family! I grew up in Groveport, Ohio and graduated from the Allied Health and Business Management Program at Fairfield Career Center.
To further my knowledge of the ever evolving field of dentistry, I frequently attend dental seminars and lectures. I currently live in Ashville with my husband Josh and two children, Alexus and Joshua. I enjoy volunteering my time to my children’s schools and sports interests. My other hobbies include: camping, baking and DIY projects.
I look forward to seeing you and your family in the office!
Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am a Treatment Coordinator at Beecher Crossing Dental Group. I am passionate about dentistry, and I love the opportunity to help others. My goal is to help our patients feel comfortable, feel well-informed and leave with a smile on their face! I love working here and am excited to be part of such a dynamic team.
I was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida at the age of seven. I worked as an EFDA in Florida after attending Erwin Tech. In 2015, I moved to Ohio and found my home at Beecher Crossing soon after! Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my fiance and daughter, traveling, and finding new places to explore!
I look forward to seeing you and your family in the office!
I am Odessa, I am a part of the treatment coordinator team here at Beecher Crossing.
I have been in dentistry since 2011 where I attended a vocational program and graduated high school with my assisting certification. I switched from the clinical team to the business team in the last few years and thoroughly enjoy growing my knowledge within dentistry. I am so excited to be able to say that I am apart of such a dynamic and professional group.
When I’m not working, I am hanging out with my wife and animals who are my babies. I am in the military as well so I am nice and busy!
EFDA-Expanded Functions Dental Assistants
I go by James and I’m one of the Expanded Function Dental Assistants (EFDA) at Beecher Crossing Dental Group.
I attended The Ohio Business College for dental assisting, and went on to study at The Ohio State University; where I earned my EFDA certification. This additional training allows me to place restorations and help our patients feel great about their smiles!
I really enjoy treating patients and feel fortunate to have found my calling! You will never believe it, but I ended up in the dental field after taking one of those “online personality tests!”
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my son Ethan, taking my dog Bailey to the park, volunteering as a youth football coach, bowling, and watching movies.
I graduated from Ohio Business College for dental assisting in 2009. I also attended Ohio State University in 2012 and received my Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary license.
I really enjoy treating patients and have a strong passion for the dental field. I really connect with my patients on a personal level, which is very important since most patients fear going to the dentist. I couldn’t be happier to be helping my community achieve the best smiles possible.
Outside of the office I enjoy traveling, all types of exercise and spending time with my friends and family.
I grew up in here in Gahanna and graduated from Bishop Hartley High School. After high school I enlisted in the United States Navy where I spent 8 years in the Naval Reserves Aviation Electronics. I married my husband Eric in 1996 and live in Newark with our cats, Bunchie and Punkin, our dog, Jade, and our 12 chickens! We spend most of our time outside in the yard and garden or kayaking, golfing and roaming around Ohio looking for antiques to collect!
I can honestly say I love my job. I have to give credit to all the people I work with. It is a rare day when we don’t laugh at least once even on our bad days. I enjoy taking care of the patients and providing the best work possible for them.
Dentistry is hard work but when you are working with doctors that are good at what they do, who care about the patients, and you have the support of a great team, it makes it all worthwhile. I look forward to many more years at Beecher Crossing Dental Group!
My name is Julie and I was born and raised here in Columbus. I graduated from Madison Plains in London, Ohio. After high school I attended Dental Assistant Pro here in Columbus. I then attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio for my EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary). I have been a Dental Assistant since 2009 and an EFDA since 2013. I really enjoy meeting and getting to know each of our patients. My goal is to make every patient feel comfortable when they smile!
In my spare time I like to hang out with my dog, Crush, who is an Old English Bulldog, shopping, and traveling. My favorite place to vacation is my family house in Florida.
Registered Dental Hygienists
I grew up in Delaware, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010 (Go Bucks!). I have been part of Beecher Crossing Dental Group for several years, and I absolutely love what I do. It is all too often that people dread coming to the dentist, so it is my ambition to make it a relaxed and pleasant experience.
I really enjoy getting to know my patients, as well as educating them on how to improve and maintain their oral health. I believe it’s possible to have a little fun at the dentist’s office, and I may even be able to inspire you to floss by the end of your appointment!
Outside of work, I take joy in being outdoors, horseback riding, hiking, cooking, and community service. I also love reading, staying active, having random dance parties and spending a great deal of time with my wonderful family and friends. I look forward to meeting you!
My name is Tracy. I am a dental hygienist and have been for a little over 20 years. I joined the Beecher Crossing team and I love it here. It is a great team to be a part of. I grew up about an hour and a half north of Columbus in a small country town. I rode and trained horses and played softball. What brought me to Columbus? The Ohio State University of course. It was not until my sophomore year that I realized my future would be in dentistry. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. While in school, I also had the privilege of working in the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery department on campus. Once I graduated I found a job here in Columbus and never left. Like I said, I have been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and I find that I love my job just as much now, if not more, than the day I started I love helping patients achieve healthy smiles and doing what I can to help them maintain that healthy smile. I have one amazing son. He enjoys playing baseball and basketball. Watching him play these sports is my favorite past time. We also have an amazing dog named Champ. I enjoy camping, watching Ohio State football, and traveling. I prefer to travel anywhere with sun and a beach. When I think of an ideal dental office to be a part of, I look for a caring, knowledgeable and compassionate team. I have found that in the doctors and staff of Beecher Crossing.
My name is Morgen and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I was born and raised in West Virginia. I attended college at West Virginia University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Health Science degree. I moved to Columbus in 2005 and I consider it my second home. I have two children, a daughter and son. I enjoy working at Beecher Crossing Dental Group because we are a large family and I’ve been with the practice for almost 9 years. I love the patients here too, they become a part of our family and I enjoy laughing and talking with them and also listening to any questions and concerns they may have and doing my best to help them feel comfortable and at ease when they are here. The things I enjoy at the practice are intra oral photography with all my patient’s teeth. Most find this interesting to see their teeth up close and I take the time to explain what I see and answer any questions they may have. Another interesting thing for patients to see is the Cone Beam image with the I-CAT equipment that allows them to see their skull in 3D and also lets us check their airway, sinus and jawbones. Most patients have not had an x-ray like this before. My hygienist roles include taking the necessary x-rays for our doctors to be able to diagnose any areas of concern or rule out any areas of disease. Also I take assessment of patients bone and gum health to determine what type of cleaning the patient will need; a regular cleaning versus periodontal therapy. I show patients through pictures, x-rays, and charting what I see and explain to them the conditions of their teeth and gums and answer any questions I can for them. Having obtained my certificate to give local anesthesia, I can make patients feel comfortable for their dental treatments or periodontal therapy procedures. My goal is to provide every patient with a good experience so they enjoy coming to see us
Hello everyone! My name is Kylie and I am a Dental Hygienist here at Beecher Crossing Dental Group. I am originally from Coshocton, Ohio but currently live in Pataskala with my husband Ty, whom I met in the 2nd grade, and our son Calen. I graduated from West Liberty University in 2012 with my Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. My favorite part about dentistry is being able to provide optimal health to my patients while keeping them feeling confident with their smile. My family is very important to me! In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with my husband, family, and friends; but most of all playing and spending time with my son and watching him learn new things and grow into his own person.
Hi, my name is Trang. I grew up right here in Gahanna! I am so happy to be able to be a part of this dental family after graduating from Columbus State Community College for Dental Hygiene. I look forward to guiding and helping each patient achieve their optimum oral health. This was my main motivation to leave my previous career as an insurance billing specialist and become a dental hygienist. I understand that going to the dentist is not everyone’s favorite but I aim to make the experience as enjoyable and pleasant for everyone! A little bit about me, I have two fur babies, so feel free to ask me about them! I enjoy cooking, working out, and hanging out with family and friends (especially if it’s on a beautiful day on a patio or around a fire pit).
